A limited number of copies of the Sefer "Eis Laledes"  has been sponsored to benefit Bikur Cholim rooms/closets in hospitals serving Jewish patients and Batei Medrash where it is in demand.

 

The sefer, authored by Rabbi Eli Biegeleisen, primarily discuss the halachos and hanhagos relevant to childbirth and postpartum. 

In addition it contains a chapter on 'Halachos of Hospitals' which contains halachic information for all patients and family members pertinent to all hospital stays.

Topics include, Shabbos, Traveling, Kashrus, Yom Tov, Nidda, Bikur Cholim, Time of Death and more.

 

Being that those caught unexpectedly in a hospital, especially on shabbos, often have questions arise they did not know to ask beforehand to their Rav, this sefer can be an appreciated tool with its easy to find and easy to read guidance.
